The City of Engines

After 2 Years and 25 Hours later I finally made it!!!


I started with this picture on Sep. 2010 and never finished it in any kind. But then somehow my fakk'd-up brain came to the glorious idea to finish it since I also needed an extra-picture that I can offer at the connichi, where I'll probably take part.


"As they are about to enter this mysterious place, they would already know that something will be wrong. The entire "city" was full of life, but seems dead at the same time. Everything moved, but no-one was there. The environment felt polluted and dark smoke were leaving the pipes everywhere.
They slowly and carefully moved on, always with the thought that someone was watching them..."


My first steampunk-based picture.
Now, that I'm looking at it multiple times, I'm actually not that satisfied anymore about the result...but didn't bother to upload it.^^
